LoRawan zone leakage detection sensor

AEM300 – ZLD is a compact spot leakage detection sensor designed for detecting the presence of water (or other liquids) and transmitting alarms through LoRaWAN® technology. Thanks to this low – power – consumption technology, AEM300 – ZLD can operate for up to 5 years with a 4000 mAh battery. When combined with the LoRaWAN® gateway and IoT Cloud solution, users can remotely and visually manage all sensor data and receive alarms via the mobile APP. Moreover, AEM300 – ZLD integrates temperature and humidity sensors, which are of great value for applications such as pipeline leakage monitoring, basement flooding, and pump failure detection.

Main features of the sensor

Leak Detection with High Sensitivity

Suitable for detecting the presence of water and remotely alerting users to potential water leak, water spillage, or floor wetness. It supports water or other conductive liquids leak detection when liquid levels reach 5mm.

LoRaWAN communication protocol

LoRaWAN is a global communication standard for IoT networks, based on LoRa technology, which is characterized by a long range.

Thanks to this protocol, devices can communicate with network gateways over a distance of several kilometers in urban environments and up to several dozen kilometers in rural areas. At the same time, LoRaWAN-based devices are known for their low power consumption, making them an ideal choice for applications where batteries need to function for years without the need for recharging. In response to different network conditions, LoRaWAN can adjust the transmission rate, which helps optimize coverage and energy consumption.
